Face to Face With Christ

By Pastor Roger Redmond
We must always remember Israel is the wife of Jehovah, God the Father and we are the Bride of Christ to be the Lamb’s wife, Revelation 19:7, Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.

Face to Face with Christ our Saviour

A very important time is the 75-day interval from the mid-point of the Tribulation to the end of the tribulation is 1,260 days but Daniel 12:11-12, gives this, Dan 12:11  And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. Dan 12:12  Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.

A special thanks to my friend Jeff Robb for the chart.

From the November election to the inauguration is somewhere between 73 and 78 days.  Why? Because there is a lot to be done in setting the government. A lot of people appointed to jobs, etc. And you say, Jesus is God and He does not need a lot of time.  He could speak the word and all things would be done. But that would be missing the point! Missing the purpose of taking up our cross and following Him.  He wants us to share in His rulership.  We earn that right in this life by finishing the race assigned to us to run. [ Hebrews 12:1-2].

I have mentioned some of the things that takes place in the seventy-five days in previous messages. Most notable June 22, 2022, the link to our web site, www.nrbbc.org and click on the video.

The final gathering of the Jewish remnant during the 75 days  Mat 24:30  And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. Mat 24:31  And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. Mat 24:32  Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: Mat 24:33  So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Mat 24:34  Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. Mat 24:35  Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.[cf, Ezekiel 11:17-20. Same time as Matthew 24:30-34.  ]

1] God gave Israel a writhing of divorcement: Why? He loved them. God chose Israel, Duet 7:6-8, For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth. The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people: But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.

God entered into covenant with Israel, Duet. 5:1-3.  The Jewish Prophets always viewed this as a marriage contract.  God was jealous over them, Duet. 6:10-16 i.e., Deu 6:15  (For the LORD thy God is a jealous God among you) lest the anger of the LORD thy God be kindled against thee, and destroy thee from off the face of the earth. Deu 6:16  Ye shall not tempt the LORD your God, as ye tempted him in Massah. Four times the LORD reminded the children of Israel of Massah. And then they provoked Him again at Kadesh-barnea.

A hundred years later, she continued provoking the LORD, Jer. 3:6-10, i.e., Jer 3:8  And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also. Jer 3:9  And it came to pass through the lightness of her whoredom, that she defiled the land, and committed adultery with stones and with stocks.  He is talking about spiritual adultery. They never left the God’s of Egypt! [This is the southern Kingdom].  The Book of Hosea is God’s bill of divorcement from the Northern Kingdom all because she worshipped then Canaanite god baal, Hosea 2:6-13, i.e. v13,   And I will visit upon her the days of Baalim, wherein she burned incense to them, and she decked herself with her earrings and her jewels, and she went after her lovers, and forgat me, saith the LORD.

2] A new marriage contract made for the Nation of Israel in the 75 day interval, [ Jer. 32:31-34  Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.]  It is also called the Everlasting covenant

Everything that has eternal value is established through the blood of Christ, Hebrews 13:20

The final re-gathering of the nation of Israel, Matthew 24:30-32; Ezekiel 11:17-20.] Eze 11:17  Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.

3] There must be a bema judgment for these believers!  Where is the question?  {our bema has already been.  The rapture is prior to Tribulation]. There must be one for the Old Testament Saints; their resurrection takes place after the tribulation, in the 75 days.  Still part of the first resurrection, for unbelievers are resurrected a thousand years later.   This may be a reference to that Bema Judgement, Eze 20:35  And I will bring you into the wilderness of the people, and there will I plead with you face to face. Eze 20:36  Like as I pleaded with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so will I plead with you, saith the Lord GOD. Eze 20:37  And I will cause you to pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant:

4] A description of the Jews at the end of the Tribulation and the Resurrection of the Old Testament Saints.

Daniel 12:1-3, And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.   And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.  And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

V1 “and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation”.  This I believe is  the tribulation.  One of the purposes of the tribulation is to bring National Israel [the leadership] to repentance, Daniel 9:24, Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

No doubt many of the leaders as well as many other believers [ there will be multitudes of Jews saved in the tribulation] will be at Petra at the end of the tribulation and will call on the LORD to be rescued and that is a reason in His Second Coming to rescue them.

V1b “and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. [That would be the Book of Life]

V2 –3 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.  And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

This is the resurrection of O.T. saints; there will be no unbelievers in this resurrection. [ No unbelievers are a part of the first Resurrection – their resurrection will be at the GWTJ ]   This resurrection is about two types of believers.  [ I am going to go back and draw comparisons to us today, the Church. We will continue next service to study from this point.][

5] We must always remember Israel is the wife of Jehovah, God the Father and we are the Bride of Christ to be the Lamb’s wife, Revelation 19:7, Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.

6] God was jealous over them, Duet. 6:15-16, And so was Paul  which he said in, Col 1:27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: Col 1:28  Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:  “Perfect” or of full age grown up in Christ.

2Co 11:2  For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.  What was this jealousy, this godly jealousy.? Answer: V3, 2Co 11:3  But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. 2Co 11:4  For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

Paul did not want them to hear false teaching.  He did not want them to hear another gospel.  He did not want their minds diverted from Christ.  He wanted them to grow up in Christ.  If you have a pastor, he should have the same desire as Paul; if not you most likely have a hireling.

7] A Pastor wants the same for those to whom he ministers: for them to grow up in Christ, to know Him and all His fulness. Col 2:8  Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. Col 2:9  For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.  The verse is saying: All the fulness that is in the God head is in Jesus Christ.

It is important to grow up in Christ knowing His grace and truth, Joh 1:16  And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.  Jesus if full of Grace and truth.  Grow up in Christ knowing you have eternal life!  Jesus is God, John 14:1, Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. Why did He say this?  Because He is God clothed in human flesh.  The Lamb of God that taketh away then sin of the World. [see Heb 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; ]

A Pastor want you to grow up in Christ Looking and expecting Him to come for you, the believer, the body of Christ, John 14:2-3  In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

A Pastor want you to finish your race, Hebrews 12:1-2  Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,  Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

8] We will face our bema just as the O.T saint will theirs, Dan. 12 V2 –3 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.  And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.  This Resurrection is about two types of believers. The wise shines,  And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever, Dan. 12:3

We as well as the O.T. saints will be in the first resurrection just at a different time. 2Co 5:10  For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
