What does it all mean? The saved need to be busy for our Saviour. We have the most important job regardless of our vocation and that is following Christ. You are not saved by doctrine but by Christ. There is no way to know you are saved by believing in a doctrine; it is Jesus who taste death for you. I have a great grandson due to make his entrance in November and by the grace of God Jesus tasted death for him. The work of Christ on the cross is still effective today and it is the preaching of that cross that saves, 1Co 1:17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect. 1Co 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
Hebrews 2:9 has the same truth as Rev. 1:5, 6, And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
Rev. 1:5 is past tense, “unto Him who loved us” but it has a present tense meaning, “Unto Him who loveth us” it is an ever-present love. The Love of God shown at the Cross is the same love that reaches you, John 3:16
It is important that we tell the Work of the Cross, The Love of God to others, our family, Romans 1:16, For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Rom 1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
Sometimes in our response to the Holy Spirit, we don’t always respond to what He is dealing with us about. [Illustration when my wife was saved. In listening to her testimony later it was clear the LORD was dealing with her about her need to believe on Christ for eternal life. But yet when she responded the said to the pastor’s wife,” I come to pray for my daddy”. Ms Johnston never responded but took her to Word of God and my wife was saved. I have often wondered what if the Pastor’s wife had prayer for her daddy?
We need to give the Truth of Christ and His Promise of everlasting life. Spiritual problems come back to an uncertainty about having eternal life or a believer who has sinned and doesn’t believe they can be forgiven and restored.
It is okay to respond to the LORD about what He is dealing with you about. Martha did in John Chapter 11, the woman at the well did in John chapter f4. It was just a private conversation with Martha, Joh 11:20 Then Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met him: but Mary sat still in the house. Joh 11:21 Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died. Joh 11:22 But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee. Joh 11:23 Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again. Joh 11:24 Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day. Joh 11:25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: Joh 11:26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? Joh 11:27 She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.
The woman at the well left her waterpot and went into the city and said, come see a man that told me ever I did! It was not Jesus that went and told the city. “That ever I did” that cover a lot of ground. People say, they had abortion! Jesus knows! I committed adultery! Jesus knows. He told me ever I did. You can continue and add sin after sin the answer is still then same! Jesus knows. And what did He tell her: John 4:21-29
And to the believer who is uncertain about how to be forgiven and can I know I am forgiven? Yes, you can, 1 John 1: 7-2:1-2. Read David’s prayer of confession in Psalm 51.
2] We have His Promise that is Certain, John14:1-6 That is the Rapture. We are living in the Last days but it is the rapture that sets the time in motion. Revelation 5::1-10, They worship because of redemption, see 4:9-11. The JSOC must have already been completed before this scene in Heaven. There will be time before the Tribulation. V 10 . There is a present tense and a future tense because of Rev. 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
There will be people who miss the rapture and will know what has happened and multitudes saved. Those who are saved after the rapture but before the tribulation but must go into the tribulation, Revelation 20:4, And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
It is said the Lord will uses us to provoke the Jews to Jealousy. When has that ever happened? I believe that takes place after the rapture and the JSOC. And the Two witness will point to the church as a meant of provoking the Jews to believe God.

It is like new never ask the oblivious question, Dan 12:1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. Dan 12:2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. Dan 12:3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
Question: If there are wise believer, there must be unwise. Where are they? Do we without any thought believe all sheep that enter the kingdom are on the same level? does not 1 Cor. 3: shut that down.
Most teaching today rejects the teaching of the evaluation of the J.S.O.C. It is preserving the purpose of God for you in your race of life by obedience to His Word , Eph.2:10, Luk_14:27 And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.
Stand up, Speak up and then Stand on the truth. Spend less time trying to convince some one about what you believe and let the truth speak for its self
