What is the Rapture and What does it Mean
The Rapture is a Wakeup call to the World that the tribulation is at hand. Does 2 Thes. 2:9-12 say people missing the rapture cannot be saved after the rapture? We answer that question in the study.
A few thoughts about our current times: “Perilous Times” are here: There is Godlessness in the last days, 2 Timothy 3:1-7, i.e. 2Ti 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 2Ti 3:7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Children's hospital offered 'gender-affirming' hysterectomies for kids
Children's National Hospital stated in a deleted webpage reference that it offers “gender-affirming” hysterectomies for people between the ages of 0-21. They say that was error in their web page.
The Rapture will catch the world unaware, and if you miss the rapture, you will go through the tribulation. There are signs that the tribulation is near. Let the signs move you to faith in Christ for salvation and to the believer away from the LORD to repent and start walking in the light, 1, John 1:5-7. This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
We can see that the rapture is near. Matthew 24 is an outline of Bible prophecy about the tribulation. There are many diverse teachings on chapter 24 and let me say, you need to read and study for yourself because the Lord holds the believer accountable for study of the Word. And you will be blessed beyond measure if you do so.
I want to point out a common error you hear in Matthew 24:31-35. This is not the restoration of the Nation Israel in 1948, Mat 24:31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. Mat 24:32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: Mat 24:33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know thalt it is near, even at the doors. Mat 24:34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. Mat 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
The elect is God’s chosen people. But He said I will gather them [24:31]. Today Jews are coming home but there is more to come. A parallel passage [Luke 21:29-32] explains better than me the illustration He is using. Notice the words, “all the trees” and then words “all these things” . The restoration in 1948 is one thing. The generation of Israelites that sees the signs of the beginning of the end will see the end also. The words in this passage show Jesus uses an illustration about nature devoid of any reference to Israel but that summer is nigh, the birth pains of the S.C. are happening.
First] The Rapture is a wakeup call. It is a warning to the world, the tribulation is at hand, 2Pe 3:3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, 2Pe 3:4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. The Rapture says something has changed. Things are not continuing as normal. The Rapture precedes the tribulation.
The Tribulation is The LORD pouring out His wrath on the world. When you read the Book of Revelation, you find the Seal Judgments, the Trumpet judgments, the Vial judgments [some translation say, bowl judgments]. Remember each series of judgments go all the way to the end. They do not start and stop. For example, when you read about the famine that is not just till the next truck come in at Food City, or Walmart, the famine goes all the way to the end of Tribulation. It will be for the entirety of the tribulation.
If you are living and miss the rapture, you will go through the tribulation. The birth pains show us the tribulation is near. Let the signs move you to faith in Christ for salvation and to the believer who is away from the LORD to repent and start walking in the light, 1, John 1:5-7.
Rev 6:12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; Rev 6:13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. Rev 6:14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. Rev 6:15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; Rev 6:16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: Rev 6:17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand.
The sixth seal happens after the 70th week, Mat 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: As the beast and his armies gather to make war against Christ, a great earthquake will occur.
The preceding passage takes you to Revelation 19:11-19, I.e. 17-19 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great. And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.
When the heavens open, I would take that to mean one could see into heaven. The people that have taken the mark of the beast cannot be saved, and they want to hide Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb, they had rather die than stay alive and face the wrath of the Lamb, see Isaiah 2:19-21.
Rev 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; [the trumpet judgments] and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. The Seventh trumpet sounds, this seventh trumpet embraces, the Kingdom, the S.C and the seven vials, or last seven plagues, which make up the third woe.
The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. He has not yet been crown King. His coronation happens when He returns in Rev. 19:10 –21. Heaven is already rejoicing because as always what God has said will happen as He said.
11:17-18, 1“could be called a poetic tribute to the consummation of God’s purpose about His kingdom. That is in that future day when God has taken great power and reigned.”
Some things said here that must be heard: 1] V18 The time of tying scriptures of prophecy together, “And the nations were angry...” a reach back to Psalm 2:1-3 and the day of His wrath, “and thy wrath is come”. Psalm 2:4-5. 2]” It is the time of the dead that they should be judged,” See 2 Timothy 4:1; Matthew 25:31-46,- ; 3] And also there is the language of the JSOC, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, The JSOC must take place prior to Rev. 19:7-9. {and them that fear thy name, small and great; there is a blessing promised to those who fear Him, Psalm 103:11-19] to the small and the great, the promise is to whoever fears Him.
The Sixth vial takes you to Armageddon, Rev 16:12 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared. The oceans have been turned into reservoirs of blood so the 1,780 mile long river has been dried up for armies to come.
Rev 16:13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. Rev 16:14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.
Rev 16:15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. The believer caught unprepared will be put to shame. The word “shame”refers to a person’s private parts, Aschēmosunēn. See Isaiah 47:3
Rev 16:16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon. Rev. 19:11-19.
The seventh vial the final expression of God’s wrath takes you to the arrival of the kingdom, Rev 16:17 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done. The Judge of all the Earth will finish the outpouring of His wrath on mankind and will initiate the final stages of His return to earth.
Rev 16:18 And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great. Rev 16:19 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath. Rev 16:20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. Rev 16:21 And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.
The Rapture tells you that God is going to judge the world and set things right. We have heard so much about climate change, but no one has ever thought about the change He will bring. I do inform all the George Soros, the Bill Gates, the John Kerry's and to all those who hold to the Global Agenda and worked so hard to usurp His creation from Him and to oppress the ones who believe in His name, and to take the freedom God gave us. You see freedom is not yours to take. So let me say, You lost.
The Day of the LORD started with the twinkling of the Morning Star, The Rapture. It continued with the rising of the tribulation, Daniel 70th week, and explodes in the battle of Armageddon and the S.C of Christ and reaches its Zenith with Jesus Christ on His throne, all in the Day of the LORD. Yes, you lost! Our LORD and Saviour is coming back for us and He is coming again to reign over His Creation. [As a side note: The battle of Armageddon and the Second Coming all happens in a 24 hour day]
2] The rapture will be known around the world. There will be multitudes saved in the tribulation. The identity of the Great multitude in Revelation seven is a mixture of people that came out of great tribulation, Rev 7:9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; Rev 7:10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. Rev 7:11 And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God, Rev 7:12 Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen. Rev 7:13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? Rev 7:14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
Does 2 Thess 2:8-11 mean that a person who missed the rapture cannot be saved after the rapture. The anti-christ is revealed God’s response in the tribulation is to people who do not love the truth and embrace the lie of satan. “For this cause God shall sent them strong delusions that they should believe a lie.” It is not contingent on men who knew the gospel but did not believe and missed the rapture but it is contingent on people who in the tribulation received the lie of satan. 2Th 2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. This is judgment for believing the lie of satan and not the judgment of God on the person who missed the rapture.
Listen to the warning about the beast and just as there will be many saved in the tribulation, there will be many more that worship the beast, and cannot be saved. Let us read together, Rev. 13:15-17; 14:9-11; Rev. 16:2; Rev.19:20; Rev. 20:4.
There is more to the hiring of the 87,000 IRS agents than just audits, in my opinion. Maybe it is for the change to the digital dollar. The question maybe asked, why talk about these things? Answer: these are signs of the end time.
3] The Rapture is the end of the Church Age and the keeping of His Promise to the one who has believed in Him, John 14:1-3 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. Joh 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. Joh 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
Where do we go when we die? Answer: the third heaven. 2 Cor. 12:2. Which is the place of paradise now. But that is not where we will spend eternity. We will spend eternity on the new earth. That will be the place of heaven. Rev. 21 :1-3 Rev 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. Rev 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. Rev 21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
Just as Christ walked and talked with Adam and Eve in the garden before the fall that will not be lost in the new earth. The new heavens is not just the third heaven but the entire universe. The new earth is our heaven we were not designed to be heavenly beings but earthly beings. Adam and Eve were Terrestrial being. If they had not sinned where would we spend eternity?
Conclusion: The truth that Jesus is proclaiming is the way of salvation: Let’s look at the scripture: “If you believe in God believe also in Me”. How does that show the way of Salvation? Answer. Jesus is saying, I and the Father are One. Jesus is saying, I am God in Human flesh. Jesus is saying, I am the way, the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me
So, the proposition is this: do you believe Jesus is telling you the truth? Answer: yes, but I still have some questions, or I am uncertain. That is a good and honest statement! So let us go back and expand on what Jesus said.
Jesus said if you believe in God believe also in me, Jesus said, I and my Father are one. John 10:30.
Jesus is saying, I am God in human flesh, Heb 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; Heb 2:15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. Jesus is saying, I am the One the Father gave, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Jesus is saying I tasted death for you, “.... that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man”. He experienced a spiritual death, the second death, for every person. His work of the Cross is a Finished Work.
Jesus is saying, there is nothing else to be done, “It is Finished”. “Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?” If the LORD tarries we will all died physically but the believer will never die the second death, we will live eternally forever with Him.
Jesus said, “Believest thou this? Jesus is asking, if you believe what He said?
Every person must answer His promise: “I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?”
